The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) draw took place at the newly constructed Parc des Expositions in Abidjan on Thursday. Nigeria’s national team, the Super Eagles, was drawn into Group A along with the host nation Ivory Coast.
In Group C, the defending AFCON champions, Senegal, were placed alongside Cameroon, Guinea, and The Gambia. The tournament is scheduled to be held in January 2024.
