Location: Lagos State, Nigeria

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement social media strategy to attract, inform, inspire and engage visitors to the Ananse brand and encourage click-through to products on the online store
• Define and implement consistent Ananse brand personality and editorial voice across different social media channels
• Work with creative staff, agencies and other department heads to produce high quality multimedia content
• Cultivate relationships and deploy social media campaigns with influencers and other brand partners
• Coordinate social media activities with other related functions: paid advertising, PR, multimedia content and customer care
• Collate and analyse data to monitor the effectiveness of campaigns to maximise results
• Report regularly on insights gained from social media analytics to support the Ananse team in evolving company strategies in a timely fashion
• Monitor trends in social media tools and applications to ensure Ananse utilises best industry practice
• Develop and deliver social media training to support targeted and current fashion merchants on the Ananse ecommerce marketplace platform
• Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field
• 3-5 years social media community management and content creation experience in the fashion industry
• Good understanding of fashion marketplaces and the African fashion landscape
• Highly analytical and data driven
• Creative problem solver who is comfortable with ambiguity
• Strong people, stakeholder and project management skills
• International exposure and understanding of different cultures
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset and problem-solving capabilities with a record of finding feasible solutions to complex problems in an environment with incomplete information and tight timelines
• Willingness to travel locally and in Africa
