Terem Moffi expresses joy as he gears up to rejoin the Super Eagles in Ivory Coast, following a fortunate turn of events. Initially excluded from Jose Peseiro’s final 25-man squad, Moffi found his way back when Victor Boniface suffered an injury, paving the way for the OGC Nice forward.

With Victor Boniface and midfielder Wilfred Ndidi ruled out due to injuries, Moffi’s inclusion is a welcomed boost for the team. Alhassan Yusuf replaced Ndidi, while Terem Moffi steps in for the injured Boniface.

“I’m happy to be back in the team; naturally, it was not easy for me initially,” expressed Moffi. “But I’m going to give my best to the team.”

Due to club commitments, Moffi will miss the first game against Equatorial Guinea on January 14 but is set to join the squad on Sunday, meeting the terms of an agreement between OGC Nice and the Nigeria Football Federation.
