Many people are willing to join the defectors in the PDP, according to Mustapha Albashir, Alhaji Gana, and Mallam Yahaya Abubakar, some of the leaders of the defectors who spoke on their behalf.
After seven years under the current administration’s leadership, the new PDP members asserted that they were unable to name any concrete benefits of democracy in their community.
