A Member of Parliament from Kenya, Ronald Karauri, has decided to reward a pastor known as ‘Daniel’ who recently recreated a scene from the Bible by entering a lion’s den. Karauri has offered to take the pastor on an all-expenses-paid trip to Masai Mara National Reserve to observe lions in their natural habitat. The pastor gained widespread attention after a video of him interacting with three lions in a seemingly fearless manner went viral on social media.
Despite provoking the lions, they remained surprisingly calm, and at one point, he even placed his hands in a lion’s mouth. Before locking himself in the den, the pastor invited local church members to witness his actions. It remains unclear whether the pastor has accepted the MP’s generous offer. However, some conservation activists warn that such stunts could face legal obstacles, as harming wildlife, even seemingly docile lions, can lead to severe legal consequences due to the unpredictable nature of these predators.
